GTSM keeps DayZ's vanilla survival loop on Nasdara and trims the parts that mostly waste your time. It's built for solo players, duos and trios who want to loot, build and fight without losing everything to an offline raid.
Groups and PvP
Make a group of up to 3 in the map menu (GROUP tab) and invite players by looking at them. Teammates show on your map with name tags you can toggle. PvP is allowed everywhere, but groups may not team up with other groups.
Bases
Raiding is off: base parts can't be damaged, and only code locks are used, which can't be cut. Deeping is allowed, so building an airlock is your job. A flag kit places an instantly raised flag; flags must be 200 m apart and lower over 5 days. Anything you build or place despawns 72 hours after placement unless a raised flag within 60 m keeps it alive, and 72 hours after a flag reaches the bottom everything around it goes. Building is blocked near major military sites and a few landmarks (map in Discord); towns are open.
Loot and storage
Every bunker has a supply chest that restocks 30 minutes after it's emptied. It holds a GTSM Assault Pack (8x10) plus either a GTSM Military Crate (400 slots, 30 kg) or a GTSM Weapon Locker kit (an OD-green cabinet for 6 rifles, 4 handguns and 4 mags). Both open and close, and their contents don't despawn while your flag is up. Placed barrels, crates, sea chests and tents get a SORT button in your inventory that groups everything by type in one click. Loot is desert-friendly, with more light clothing and turbans.
Quality of life
- Double stamina (twice the vanilla bar, normal drain)
- Sleeping-bag respawns near your flag (craft from 4 tarps + a leather sewing kit)
- No vehicle crash damage and no roadkill; flip or push tipped vehicles
- 1PP, but drivers of cars, trucks, motorbikes and boats can use 3PP
- Heatstroke builds half as fast and clears within about 10 minutes in shade, indoors or at night
- Keybinds for autorun, hover-to-grab looting, earplugs and a compass HUD (with a compass)
- Map opens without a map item, but there's no "you are here" marker; coordinates need a GPS
Server
Restarts every 4 hours with warnings. Mods: CF, VPPAdminTools, FlipTransport and GTSM Nasdara (Workshop 3823291794). Join through the DayZ Launcher with "Setup DLCs and mods and join" so everything downloads.
