We’re thrilled to announce that more than 325,500 units of DayZ Badlands have been purchased across all platforms, and DayZ reached a peak of more than 435,500 concurrent players during the launch period. It’s been a massive success, not just in terms of sales, but also in the amount of community content, opening up more doors and opportunities for DayZ and its community as a whole. We’re humbled by your support and sincerely appreciate all the love you’ve shown Nasdara. You can find the data below:

To celebrate this successful launch, DayZ Badlands have been on sale for up to 10%. You can get it here!

The work doesn’t stop here. We released the first patch last week, addressing a number of issues. Some modding and community related issues arose along the way, and we’re making internal changes to help future patches roll out more smoothly and consistently. We have also reached out and working to improve our communication with server owners and modders.
We’re also working on a hotfix focused on crashes and other Badlands-related problems that need more urgent attention. We expect it to enter Experimental as soon as this week Thursday (find the patch notes here[dayz.com]), followed by a Stable release next week. More details on this soon. After that, a second patch will address more issues and make adjustments to some features in DayZ Badlands. We’ll continue sharing dev blogs about these changes and other topics we’d like to explore. We enjoy putting these blogs together, so you can expect more of them for general updates in the future, too.

Again, thank you so much for all your support and love.
Big love from us too,
The DayZ Team
