Every four weeks the server turns a season, and the whole loot economy is rewritten with
it. Not a weather preset — the actual spawn tables. Winter pushes fire kit, warm
clothing and canned food and takes the fishing away. Autumn is the arms window,
when the military north swells by roughly 40%. Summer is water, light kit and long
days. The world stays equally full all year; what changes is what is in it.

Geography decides value, not scarcity. The south-east shore where you spawn is
deliberately stocked — food, water, bandages, a crude tool, every time. The further
north-west you walk the better and rarer it gets, and the last band is contaminated zones
you need a mask to loot. You can always read a place by where it is.

Guns are common. Bullets are not. A rifle is not the achievement. Ammunition,
medicine and warmth are what you cross the map for — which is why a two-year-old stash
does not exempt you from playing.

No wipe. Ever. Bases persist through every season, indefinitely. Flags need tending
every three days; protection runs 28 days. What you built in spring is still standing in
winter.

37 mods. It is a real download and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It buys
AI bandits that hold ground, weather your body temperature actually cares about, dogs and
horses, contaminated zones with real gear behind a gas mask, a barter economy and
buildable interiors. If you already run modded DayZ you will have half of them.
