The only server on Day Z I ever want to play
Okay so I'm not really sure where to begin but I will start by saying that I joined trhis server a little over a year ago along with my boyfriend, Danny. Although we didnt play for long at that time, we were welcomed and had a great experience. We joined near the end of a wipe, where everyone had the best stuff and was giving it away to people. People were generously giving us helicopters, cars and so on and it was fun at that time. When the wipe took place, Danny and I took a break for perhaps about a year to play some other games... However, when we came back to the game less than 2 weeks ago, we rejoined this same server and we were so happy to see it was just as welcoming and friendly as before. In fact, I actually recognised many many players I had spoken with last year and it felt comforting and proved it's a strong and lasting community that Crowbar and his admins have created together. It is obviously a clear sign tha this community is doing many things right to keep the players happy and engaged and coming back all the time to play.
Since I have returned, I will be honest my experience has been a bit wild but I won't delve into that... What I do want to express is that Crowbar is thoughtful towards his community and clearly dedicated who wants to strive to create a positive and supportive enviroment. I have witnessed firsthand the consistent efforts that Crowbar, the admins, trials and medics put in DAILY (yes, daily), to keep everything afloat and running smoothly. It is clear this server (Crowbar PvE) plays a huge role in peoples lives, but not in a good way, buit because of the genuine care and commitment that players have for everyone. The sense of friendship and community between people in my opinion is one of the main reasons anyone looking for a PvE server should consider joining this one specific server. It is quite rare to find such a close-knit and helpful community. Whether is it people offering helicopter rides, sharing gun cleaning kits or going on military bases together, nobody is left behind or to feel ignored. Everybody will hang with everybody, and I like that the most.
I personally get happy whenever I see new players join and I am excited to see how this server and the Discord continues to grow and form new friendships with people who pass on by. Fighting zombies and killing AI and making friends is what this server is for and I hope it continus to remain that way. All I am trying to really say is, in the less than 2 weeks that I have returned to Crowbar PvE server, it has quickly become the only game I am interested in playing and I feel liek it will remain that way for a while now. It has truly captivated my whole interest and I don't see myself leaving any time soon, this time around. If I ever do take another break, it will not be because of anything this server has done wrong. All in all, this server AND mostly the community is the reason why I stay and why I find it so great to be here. I really enjoy every aspect of what this place has to offer and I enjoy everyones company so much. It is fun here. And having fun is all that matters.
